❖ ABOUT US
We, the members of “Asia Livelihood Network”, have been involved in various ways with people who are engaged in livelihood in Asia. We have learned the skills, wisdom and resilience to live with nature by getting acquainted with many people in the process of involvement.
From the philosophies and values I encountered there, I asked myself how we should live.
The philosophies and values I encountered there led me to think about how we should live, and how we should think about sustainability in today’s society, where it is difficult to feel the connection between people and nature, and the “life” that sustains us.
We believe that the foundation of sustainable development can be based on hope and motivation, and that we should try to create the foundation of an environment where people can demonstrate their abilities. Hope is generated by the emergence of people through various triggers. Emergence can be acquired through exposure to new technologies and agroprocessing methods, but we believe that the most important thing is the interaction between creative people.
Asia Livelihood Network is based on the construction of networks through the exchange of people with people, people with nature, and producers with consumers to create a rich livelihood.
We have decided to form an organization to help build a community in harmony with the natural environment, while learning from each other.
